The wear on the Match IT Minimes Junior is comparable to that of the "Soft" models.

Very hard knocks by heavier and harder boules will make small flat marks on the surface. Scratches will appear if the boules are in contact with pebbly or tarred ground. Rub the surface of the boules regularly to eliminate any bothersome irregularities on the surface.
