The brand synonymous with rugby – Gilbert Rugby. The company is known for having supplied every Rugby World Cup with the official tournament ball since 1995. That’s 7 world cups!

Grays Hockey

In 1855, the company of H.J. Gray and Sons was founded in Cambridge by Henry John Gray, who started manufacturing wooden racquests for Cambridge students, among them Ranjitsinjhi, King Edward VII and King George VI.

In 1941, Alison Gray merged the company with hockey stick manufactuer J. Hazells to form Grays Hockey.

Fastforward 80 years, and Grays is still one of the biggest and strongest field hockey brands in the world. With it’s leading innovation and development of new technology in hockey sticks. 

Gray Nicolls Cricket

Gray Nicolls was founded in 1855, making the company one of the oldest Cricket Bat manufacturers in the world. 

Till this day, cricket bats are handcrafted in the United Kingdom, and the willow used on the high-end bats is still grown and felled just behind the Gray-Nicolls factory in Robertsbridge.

The company’s range of cricket products feature distinct, and iconic branding – synonymous with the sport. Gray Nicolls now features a comprehensive range of top quality bats, balls, gloves, pads, helmets, clothing and cricket shoes.

In 2005, we launched our first range of products under the Trident brand. Starting with only carrom boards, we realised the opportunity and potential to expand our product offering across multiple sports. 

Over the next 16 years, our Trident brand offering has expanded to nearly 1,500 products – across  Hockey, Agility, Track & Field, Football, Martial Arts, Mats, Yoga, Kids Active Play and more! 

In 2019, Trident launched it’s first range of Premium Footballs. Using the best available materials, and the most advanced production methods – Trident Football has quickly been accepted by clubs and associations for their high performance and quality. 

Trident products have travelled far and wide – within Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, UK, New Zealand, Australia, Hungary, Nigeria and Japan.

Founded in 1973, Harrows Darts is the world’s leading and most widely distributed darts brand.

In the 1990’s Gilbert launched their first ever netball range and has rapidly grown to be one of the most established netball brands worldwide.

Under Gray’s ownership, Gilbert continues to lead the way in ball technology and design, and to maintain the high standards set by James Gilbert over 180 years ago.

Opro Mouthguards

Founded and still owned by Dr. Anthony Lovat, a former dentist, OPRO grew out of Anthony’s belief that all children should have the best possible protection during sport for their teeth and gums.

Fox 40

After personal experiences of frustration with classic pea whistles, Ron Foxcroft decided to take matters into his own hand and design the first pealess whistle. 

After self-funding various prototypes, Fox 40 was born in 1987.

The Fox 40 Pealess Whistle was a success from the first time it was used professionally, at the 1987 Pan Am Games in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ron Foxcroft was surprised to discover how far beyond basketball its appeal traveled – the pealess whistle has become the whistle of choice for the NHL, NBA, NCAA, NFL and AFL.

Fox 40 Pealess Whistles have since been in world-class tournaments, such as the Olympics and the World Cup.

Obut

In saint-Bonnet-Le-Château, in 1955, Frédéric Bayet, a lock maker, changed his career path with the help of Antoine Dupuy, a talented mecanician, to start making playing Boules. The OBUT brand was born.

Designing and producing petanque boules in France is what we have aimed to do for over 60 years on our one and only production site in Saint-Bonnet- Le-Château in Loire.

Our Main Philosophy? The steel in our boules is 100% recyclable. And recycling aside, have you ever seen a set of Obut boules in the bin? No, we didn’t think so. Quite simply because for many of us, a set of boules is something you keep for life, and even pass down the generations.

Wilson Softball

Sulzberger & Son’s founded the “Ashland Manufacturing Company” in 1913 to use animal by-products to make tennis racket strings, violin strings, and surgical sutures, but soon expanded into baseball shoes and tennis racquets.

In 1931, it renamed itself “Wilson Sporting Goods Company”. During World War II it introduced the leather Wilson Duke Football, which was adopted as the official ball of the National Football League.

As of 2015, Wilson now owns DeMarini and Louiseville Slugger, creating a one-stop-solution for baseball and softball equipment.
