Sabah hockey player Muhajir is a rising star to watch. Starting out at 10 years of age, opportunities for high-level game experience were scarce.

Muhajir started training with immense effort and found his way to a place in Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sports School.

Now pursuing his tertiary education in University Putra Malaysia, the Sabah hockey player is determined to emulate his idol, Tengku Ahmad Tajuddin on the international stage.

In November 2021, Muhajir was part of the squad representing Malaysia at the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior Hockey World Cup in Odisha, India.

In addition, Muhajir also plays for TNB in the Malaysian Hockey League (MHL), with some stunning performances in 2022.

Currently playing as a striker, Muhajir uses the Grays GR7000 to score some fantastic deflection goals.

Moving forward, his ambition is to improve the playing standards and opportunities of the average Sabah hockey player.

Muhajir will be carrying the Malaysian flag and spirit far and wide during the 2023 Hockey World Cup.
