Harinder Sekhon is a double World Record Holder in Jumping.

Hailing from Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Harinder started playing cricket at the age of 14 years old.

Currently a popular batsman and wicket keeper, Harinder will be using the Gray Nicolls Prestige series in 2022-23. 

Outside cricket , Harinder is a Mathematics teacher at Maz International School. Eventually, during the pandemic lockdowns, Harinder took on the mantle of a new challenge – Athletics. His test of choice was the Single Leg Standing Jump.

Over the course of the pandemic, Harinder’s dedication and effort had seen his new hobby culminate in the World Record for the Single Leg Standing Jump!

Subsequently, Harinder broke his second World Record when he achieved 1.52m during a Seated Box Jump in October 2022.
