From Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Amir started off his martial arts journey in a local gym at the age of 14 years old. After going to Thailand to train for several years, Amir is now a 5-time Muay Thai World Champion. Consequently, he is only the second non-Thai in history to emerge champion at the famed Omnoi Stadium in Thailand. Amir’s latest victory was to win the Thailand King’s Cup in 2019.

Over the past year, Amir has been experimenting with revolutionary training and recovery forms, aiming to achieve his peak physical condition. As a result, large part of his workouts include Trident Ecoquipment – Wall Balls, Powerbags, Skipping Ropes, Resistance Bands and more!

In an Interview with FightRecord UK, Amir said,

When I was young I used to watch all these famous Muay Thai world champion fighters like Saenchai on YouTube fighting in the big stadiums in Bangkok. My dream was to be able to one day go to these stadiums and watch these superstars in person. I never thought I’d be fighting Saenchai later in my career and becoming an Omnoi Stadium champion
