Cricket Adiwira is a development cricket programme played in schools nationwide. The idea is to have a simple format of cricket that can be played anywhere, at any time, by anyone.
By simplifying the cricket format, the programme creates the opportunity to empower and transform lives at grassroots levels.
In 2020, MCA and Kuckreja signed a historic agreement to be the official provider for Cricket Adiwira for the next three years.
As a result, Kuckreja will be supplying plastic cricket sets to MCA in support of cricket development. Furthermore, additional sets are available to the public for purchase.
Under the programme, each primary school encompasses a pool of 128 students playing cricket.
There will be four programmes per year, per school. 32 players will play in each programme with an aim to achieve 458 schools in three years.
MCA is targeting to lock in a total of 1,500 schools.
The development cricket programme as already won two awards – an ICC Award (Asia) as well as regional winner of the Gray-Nicolls participation programme in the 2019.

While we work towards building the Cricket Adiwira programme, the partnership with Trident allows parents to encourage their children to pursue cricket and let the sport take them greater heights.
