At the age of 12, Syed Aziz’s journey in becoming Malaysian cricket batsman was greatly influenced by his time he spent living in India, where cricket is a national passion. 

Returning home, Syed quickly made his way through the ranks and is now a Malaysian cricket batsman. Syed Aziz wears the number 7 jersey and belts sixes out on a regular basis. He currently features in the ICC T-20 Top 100 Rankings.

In December 2018, he signed on to play a stint of first-class cricket in Sri Lanka.

Cricketer Aziz joined the Kuckreja family in 2020, and will be carrying Gray Nicolls through 2023.

In recent times, Aziz often ranks as the highest scoring Malaysian cricket batsman in domestic circuits.

The prolific cricket batsman uses the Gray Nicolls Vapour 1.0 series for the training and matches.

Syed Aziz is also active in Malaysia Cricket’s development programme – Cricket Adiwira. As a coach on the circuit, Syed Aziz travels up and down the country to assist in the development of future cricket talent.
